REPORTS TO: Manager IT Client Services

 

DESCRIPTION: 
Under the general supervision of the Manager IT Client Services, the IT Service Desk Student will provide exceptional customer and stakeholder service. This will require a desire for problem solving and prioritizing the safety of employees and communities. This role will take initiative and thrive in a diverse environment that includes both team and individually based tasks.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
•    Provide operational support to IT Client Services Team.
•    Develop and mature process documentation and refine automated processes.
•    Participate in the Desktop Refresh project and support the Deskside team with daily operations.
•    Contribute to the overall high performance of the Deskside Team to ensure our customers’ operational needs are met.

•    Knowledge of Office 365, Windows 10/11, SCCM/Intune, remote control products and automated software distribution.
•    Have a proven track record in continuous improvement – willing to challenge the ‘status quo’ and provide sound recommendations to improve processes. 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Currently enrolled in an post-secondary Information Technology or related program and be planning to return to a post-secondary institution in a full-time capacity.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Experience with SAP would be considered an asset.

 

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
•    May be subject to additional testing.

•    This position will spend time working out of the Calgary and Airdrie offices
