REPORTS TO: Supervisor Meter Data Management

 

FortisAlberta will welcome 3 students to join the Customer Operations department this summer. 

 

DESCRIPTION:
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor Meter Data Management, the Customer Operations Coordinator Student will provide exceptional customer and stakeholder service. This will require a desire for problem solving and prioritizing the safety of employees and communities. This role will take initiative and thrive in a diverse environment that includes both team and individually based tasks.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
•    Monitor and assign work group email to the appropriate team members to ensure prompt response and resolution.
•    Execute queries following an established script to monitor data quality and identify anomalies to be resolved by other assigned members of the team.
•    Assist in the investigation and resolution of problems from the Customer Relations Management System, Retailer Inquiry Tracking System, General Inquiry Tracking System, emails and escalations.
•    Prepare oral or written communication to customers following an established template.
•    Assist with internal and external customer requests and manage backlogs.
•    Participate in the testing of SAP system changes.
•    Organize and format documentation relating to Customer Operations processes.
•    Complete workflow inbox investigation and corresponding updates to SAP.
•    Assist in the investigation of rate change determinations.
•    Work with specialized software to ensure energy data is delivered to the market on time.
•    Compile data to support a consistent, defendable conclusion and provide recommendations to support process and computer-based application improvement initiatives.
•    Research electrical energy topics as assigned.
•    Maintain integrity of customer data.
•    Collaborate with remote staff to ensure effective communication and task completion.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
•    Currently enrolled in a Business Administration, Economics, or Commerce degree at an accredited post-secondary institution and be planning to return to a post-secondary institution in a full-time capacity.
